Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Rumoured to Feature Significant Camera Upgrades: Check All Details

Even though the Galaxy S24 Ultra is still pretty far away, rumours about its specs have already started to circulate.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Rumoured to Feature Significant Camera Upgrades: Check All Details

Rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera system have started to circulate. Reliable tipster Ice Universe recently revealed some intriguing details about the upcoming device, suggesting significant upgrades in camera capabilities.

However, as the launch is still a considerable time away, it's important to approach these rumours with caution, as the information may not be entirely accurate.

3x Telephoto Camera: From 10MP to 50MP?

According to Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a 50MP 3x telephoto camera, replacing the 10MP 3x telephoto unit found on its predecessor, the S23 Ultra. If this information proves correct, it would mark a notable improvement in terms of resolution and offer users enhanced zoom capabilities.

However, it is crucial to remember that these details are based on rumours and should be treated as such until official confirmation is provided.

Rear Camera Set-up: Consistency with the 200MP Sensor

Speculations suggest that Samsung might continue utilising the same 200MP sensor found on the Galaxy S23 Ultra for the upcoming S24 Ultra.

Although further details about the rear camera system remain undisclosed, rumours indicate that minor improvements may be made to the 10x periscope unit. It is uncertain whether any upgrades will be applied to the 12MP ultrawide unit, leaving room for speculation.

Front-Facing Camera: Software-Optimised Selfies

Reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might retain the 12MP selfie shooter found on its predecessor, the S23 lineup. However, users can expect software-level optimizations from Samsung to enhance the quality of selfies and video calls.

These software enhancements might bring improvements to the overall imaging experience, ensuring users capture memorable moments with sharper details and enhanced visual quality.
