Samsung, the leading consumer electronics brand in India, has officially announced the upcoming India launch of the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G. Scheduled for release early next month, this device marks a significant new addition to the Galaxy F series.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will sport a vegan leather finish with a stitched design, available in two color options. It will be accessible for purchase on Flipkart, Samsung's official website, and select retail stores across the country.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G in Comparison with Galaxy C55 5G and Galaxy M55 5G

Recently introduced in China, the Galaxy C55 5G features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, an AMOLED Plus display with a hole-punch design, and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. It includes a 5,000mAh battery supported by 45W wired fast charging and sports a leather back panel. It was earlier rumored that the Galaxy F55 5G will be a remodelled version of this Galaxy C55.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is expected to share several specifications and design elements with the Galaxy C55, including the unique vegan leather finish and triple rear cameras setup. Although primarily launched in a tan, orangish leather back panel, similar to the orange variant in China, a black color option is anticipated as well.

Both the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G and the Galaxy C55 5G appear to share similar specifications and designs, distinguishing themselves from other models like the Galaxy M55, which lacks the vegan leather finish.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G Expected Specifications

Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G might include a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It may come with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, running on Android 14-based One UI 6.0.

The camera system is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. A 50-megapixel front camera is also anticipated.

The device is likely to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 25W wired fast charging, ensuring extended usage and quick recharge times.
