Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to reportedly launch alongside Z Fold 6 in 2024

According to reports from SamMobile, Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, expected to coincide with the next releases of the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones, potentially scheduled for July or August next year.

Anticipated Upgrades

While specific details regarding the specifications and features of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are currently under wraps, it's expected that these new earbuds will bring about improvements in sound quality, noise cancellation, and battery life.

Positioned as the successor to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which made its debut last year during the Galaxy Unpacked event, the Buds 3 Pro are anticipated to build on the successes of their predecessor.

Features and Specifications

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, released last year for ₹17,999 in India, boasted a coaxial 2-way speaker, offering clear high notes and powerful bass, alongside Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support.

Additionally, the earbuds supported Bluetooth v5.3 and featured better Hi-Fi 24-bit audio. They also offered compatibility with Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi, AAC, and SBC codec and had an IPX7 rating for water resistance.

Furthermore, it was reported that the earbuds were equipped with three microphones.

In terms of battery capacity, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro provided a playtime of 5 hours and 18 hours with the case when ANC was activated. When ANC was turned off, the earbuds could last for 8 hours, with the case extending the total to 29 hours.

Each of the earbuds contained a 61mAh battery, while the case was equipped with a 515mAh battery, ensuring sustained usage throughout the day.
