Realme has announced the upcoming launch of the Realme GT 6T in India this May.

This smartphone will be the first in the country to be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset.

    Flagship-grade performance

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm TSMC process, promises to deliver a significant performance leap for the Realme GT 6T. This translates to superior user experience with faster speeds and improved power efficiency.

This combination could make the GT 6T an attractive option for users seeking flagship-level performance in the mid-high-end smartphone segment.

Benchmark scores hint at the GT 6T's potential. The chipset is claimed to achieve an AnTuTu score exceeding 1.5 million, further solidifying its position as a performance powerhouse.

Compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, the 7+ Gen 3 boasts a 15% increase in CPU performance and a substantial 45% boost in GPU power.

    The return of GT series

Realme has not launched a GT series smartphone in India since the launch of the Realme GT Neo 3T in mid-2022.

With the Realme GT 6T, the GT series will return to India after a two-year break, possibly with a better marketing and pricing strategy.
