Realme has officially unveiled its latest flagship phone, the Realme GT 5 Pro, in China. This latest flagship from Realme is notable for its use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It's a phone that directly competes with the likes of the OnePlus 12, making it a significant entry in the high-end smartphone market.

Realme GT 5 Pro: Price and Availability

When it comes to the Realme GT 5 Pro price, it starts at CNY 3,399 (about Rs 39,800) for the base model. This model includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are also two higher-end models: one with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and another with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

These are priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 46,800) and CNY 4,299 (around Rs 50,400), respectively.

The phone is available in three colours: Red Rock (orange), Starry Night (black), and Bright Moon (white). The design differs slightly between these variants, with the orange and white versions sporting a leather finish, and the black model featuring a matte finish.

Realme GT 5 Pro Specifications

The Realme GT 5 Pro has a lot going for it in terms of specs. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. This screen also offers a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The performance is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is paired with an Adreno 750 GPU.

In terms of memory, the phone offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. For storage, it can go up to 1TB with UFS 4.0 technology. The camera is another high point, boasting a 50MP Sony LYT-T808 sensor. This is complemented by a 50MP Sony IMX890 periscope telephoto sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

For selfies, the Realme GT 5 Pro has a 32MP front camera. The phone's battery life is impressive, thanks to a 5,400mAh battery which supports 100W fast charging. This feature is particularly notable as it significantly reduces the time needed to charge the phone. The software side is covered by Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0.

Additional features of the Realme GT 5 Pro include an IP64 rating, which indicates a good level of dust and water resistance, a 3VC iceberg cooling system for temperature management, NFC capabilities, Dolby Atmos support, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and Hi-Res audio.

Wrap Up:

The Realme GT 5 Pro stands out in the competitive smartphone market, especially with its advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 100W fast charging capability.

The inclusion of the 50MP Sony LYT-T808 sensor also makes it a strong choice for photography enthusiasts. With these features, the Realme GT 5 Pro is well-positioned to appeal to a wide range of users, from tech enthusiasts to everyday smartphone users looking for a high-performance device at a competitive price.
