Leading chipmaker, Qualcomm, is gearing up for the launch of its latest offering: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. A leak from a tipster indicates promising performance stats for the chip, setting high expectations for the devices it will power.

A tipster, known as Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo, shared the AnTuTu score of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Impressively, the chipset achieved a score of 2 million points, showing a significant increase from its predecessor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which garnered 1.6 million points.

GPU Performance Insights:

Delving deeper into its performance on AnTuTu, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AnTuTu GPU score stood at 840k points. This score reveals a substantial 40% enhancement in the GPU test compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Speculation suggests that the inclusion of the new Adreno 750 GPU in the chipset is the primary contributor to this remarkable advancement.

CPU Score Analysis:

Regarding CPU performance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU performance achieved a score of 440k points, marking a moderate 15.7% improvement over the previous generation. The chipset used in this benchmark was equipped with LPDDR5T RAM, which is known for its faster capabilities compared to LPDDR5X.
