POCO F6: Upcoming phone spotted on BIS, expected to be a rebranded Redmi K70 Pro

New POCO device, likely the POCO F6, seen on BIS certification list. Speculated as rebranded Redmi K70 Pro, with 90W fast charging, global launch expected in Q1 2024.

POCO F6: Upcoming phone spotted on BIS, expected to be a rebranded Redmi K70 Pro

The upcoming Poco F6 has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, suggesting that the phone is nearing its launch.

Speculations are rife that this device could be the Poco F6, a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Pro.

Spotting a New Poco Device on BIS

A new Poco device with the model number 2311RK481 was spotted on the BIS certification list. Although the name wasn't revealed, many believe it could be the Poco F6.

The speculation that Poco F6 could be a rebranded Redmi K70 Pro arises from the model number 2311DRK48C associated with the latter. This is not surprising as Redmi phones have been rebranded as Poco models in the past.

There's talk that the Poco F6 might see a global launch and an India launch in the first quarter of 2024, known as the POCO F6 Q1 2024 launch.

The Poco F6 had previously appeared on the IMEI database with the model number 2311DRK48I. It's expected to be seen online more as the official Poco F6 launch date approaches.

Poco F6 specifications (expected)

There have been rumours about the Poco F6 specifications. The phone is expected to have an FHD+ AMOLED Poco F6 display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a punch-hole for the selfie camera.

It's rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, indicating strong POCO F6 performance. It's likely to come with Android 14 from the start.

One notable Poco F6 feature could be its 90W fast charging support, although it might not have wireless charging. It's expected to have various connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Poco F6 design is yet to be revealed, but it's expected to be modern and user-friendly. The specifics of the Poco F6 camera and POCO F6 battery are still under wraps but are expected to be competitive.

The Poco F6 specifications rumoured are creating a buzz, and the possible rebranding of Poco F6 rebranded Redmi K70 Pro adds to the excitement. Tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the Poco F6's arrival, and its launch is sure to create a stir in the smartphone market in early 2024.
