The Poco F6 5G has finally launched in India as the first smartphone in the country to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is now available as a part of a special introductory offer, where prices start at Rs 25,999 only. Here are all the details.

Poco has officially introduced the Poco F6 5G in India. This new smartphone is notable for being the first in the country to utilize the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Here are the comprehensive specifications and features of the Poco F6 5G.

Poco F6 5G Features and Specifications

  • Operating System and Performance

The Poco F6 5G operates on Android 14-based HyperOS. Poco has committed to providing three major Android updates and four years of security patches for the device. It is driven by an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM. The smartphone also offers UFS 4.0 storage options with capacities reaching up to 512GB.

  • Display

The Poco F6 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1,220x2,712 pixels) and a pixel density of 446 ppi. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Widevine L1. It achieves 2400 nits peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Additionally, it includes an Always-on display feature.

  • Camera

The Poco F6 5G is equipped with a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP camera Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS), featuring an f/1.59 aperture. The secondary camera is an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 20-megapixel OV20B front camera.

  • Battery and Charging

The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. Poco includes a 120W charger in the box, which can fully charge the device in approximately 40 minutes.

  • Build and Design

The Poco F6 has a 7.8mm thin design and weighs 179 grams. It features an IP64-rated dust and splash-resistant build. The device comes with hybrid dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res certification. The smartphone has a dual-SIM (Nano) slot and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for authentication. It will be available in two colors: Classic Black and Titanium Glow.

  • Thermal Management

Poco incorporates Iceloop cooling technology in the Poco F6 5G for effective thermal management. Despite the cooling system, the device tends to run hot during intensive tasks.

  • Connectivity Options

Connectivity options for the Poco F6 5G include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. The device also includes sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, IR blaster, and proximity sensor.

The Poco F6 price in India is as follows:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: INR 29,999
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: INR 31,999
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: INR 33,999

Poco F6 5G Availability and Offers

The Poco F6 will be available for purchase on Flipkart, with the first sale starting on May 29 at 12 PM. Special offer prices are:

  • INR 25,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant
  • INR 27,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant
  • INR 29,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant

These special prices are valid for the first day of the sale and include INR 2,000 bank offers and INR 2,000 product exchange offers. Additionally, customers can benefit from a 1+1 year warranty on the first day of sale.

ICICI Credit and Debit cardholders, as well as those opting for EMI transactions, can avail an instant discount of INR 2,000. The Poco F6 will be available in two colors in the Indian market: Classic Black and Titanium Glow.
