POCO has just revealed the launch date of its upcoming POCO C61, and it’s sooner than we expected. Ahead of the launch, slated for next week, let us take a look at all the details including specs and features of the POCO C61.

The POCO C61 is a successor to 2023’s POCO C51. According to the latest announcement, the smartphone’s launch in India has been scheduled for March 26th at 12 PM IST. Exclusive Flipkart availability has been confirmed for the POCO C61, where the device will launch.

The news has been accompanied by a Flipkart microsite, providing interested users with a glimpse into the device's features. This strategy suggests the brand's commitment to leveraging online platforms for a broader reach.

POCO C61 Specifications and Features

Rumors suggest the POCO C61 might share similarities with the recently launched Redmi A3, hinting at a potential rebranding. Prominent among the teased features is a large circular camera module on the back, mirroring the Redmi A3 design.

According to the information that we have gathered from the Flipkart microsite, the POCO C61 boasts a 6.71-inch IPS LCD screen, offering a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. This display achieves an 82.9% screen-to-body ratio with a 720 x 1650 pixel resolution, leading to a density of about 268 ppi.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, based on a 12 nm architecture. It features an octa-core CPU (4x2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Storage options are varied, including 64GB with 4GB RAM, and 128GB with 6GB or 8GB RAM, all utilizing eMMC 5.1 technology. Expansion is facilitated through a dedicated microSDXC slot.

The device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features a dual camera setup, including an 8 MP primary lens. It is complemented by an auxiliary 0.08MP lens and supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
