OPPO Reno 14 Pro first look: Pure flagship vibes with a camera setup that punches hard

OPPO Reno 14 Pro launches in India on July 3 with quad 50MP cameras, including a 50MP selfie cam and Velvet Glass design. Premium design meets powerful features—get ready for a seriously stacked mid-range contender.

OPPO Reno 14 Pro first look: Pure flagship vibes with a camera setup that punches hard

OPPO is back at it—and this time, it’s swinging for the mid-premium crown. The Reno 14 Pro is officially launching in India on July 3 at 12 PM, and it’s bringing some serious heat: quad 50MP cameras, a slick new design, high-end performance, and a giant battery to match. After dropping globally, it’s now India’s turn to get in on the action.

Yes, it actually has four 50MP cameras

This isn’t just spec-sheet flexing—OPPO’s packed a proper quad-50MP setup here. You’ve got a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto with 3.5× optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front camera with autofocus. That means no filler sensors, just full-quality coverage from every angle.

Early testing shows the camera system delivers the goods: sharp detail, natural colour science, and strong dynamic range. Even the selfie cam holds its own in tricky lighting—so whether it’s portraits, zoom, or wide shots, this phone’s ready to shoot.

Velvet Glass design = premium feels, minus the smudges

If looks could kill, the Pearl White variant of the Reno 14 Pro might be charged. OPPO’s using a Velvet Glass finish this time, crafted via cold-sculpting for that matte shimmer effect. It doesn’t just look expensive—it feels expensive, and best of all, it doesn’t turn into a fingerprint magnet.

The camera module’s been cleaned up too, making the back panel feel sleeker and more modern. Overall, the phone looks like it belongs next to premium flagships without crossing the ₹50K line.

Launch date and expected price

The OPPO Reno 14 Pro hits Indian stores on July 3 at 12 PM, and it’s expected to be priced around ₹49,999 for the 16GB/512GB variant. It’ll be available via Flipkart, OPPO’s official site, and offline retailers.
