Recent developments suggest Oppo is preparing for the global launch of the Reno 12 series, the successor to the Reno 11 lineup.

While the series is expected to debut in China later this month, certifications received in Singapore, Indonesia, and India for the Reno 12 Pro hint at a broader market rollout.

      Certifications hint at global launch

These certifications, spotted by MySmartPrice, primarily confirm the phone's model number (CPH2629) and marketing name (Oppo Reno 12 Pro) but remain silent on specific hardware details.

However, leaks and additional certifications provide a clearer picture of what to expect from the device.

Oppo Reno 12 Pro specs (rumoured)

The TUV Rheinland certification reveals a 4,880mAh battery capacity, likely marketed as a 5,000mAh unit at launch.

This aligns with the 80W fast charging support confirmed by both 3C certification and rumors. The Indian BIS certification further strengthens the case for an Indian launch.

The phone's presence on the IMDA platform confirms 5G network support and NFC functionality.

Additionally, Camera FV-5's database listing suggests a 50MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, alongside a 50MP main camera on the rear.

Rumoured specifications paint a more detailed picture. Tipster DigitalChatStation claims the Reno 12 Pro will boast a 6.7-inch, 120Hz refresh rate, quad-curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a hole-punch cutout for the front camera.

Powering the device is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
