Oppo A38 with 5,000mAh battery launched: Check price in India, specs, sale date

Oppo has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Oppo A38. Let us delve deeper into the specifications and pricing details of the new Oppo A38.

Oppo A38 Display and Performance

The A38 boasts a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, delivering snappy performance for everyday tasks. However, this chipset does not support 5G.

The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you require additional storage, the Oppo A38 supports memory card expansion.

Oppo A38 Cameras

On the rear, it houses a 50MP main camera, along with a 2MP depth sensor. The camera does not have OIS, which is expected on a budget smartphone.

For selfies, the Oppo A38 comes with 5MP front camera which seems to be rather low-resolution for the price.

Oppo A38 Additional Features

To enhance security, Oppo has included a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Oppo A38.

The Oppo A38 maintains a compact and lightweight design. It also offers splash resistance, providing protection against minor water exposure, although it is not suitable for submersion.

Furthermore, the device retains the much-loved 3.5mm headphone jack, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of audio accessories.
In terms of connectivity, the Oppo A38 supports dual 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Oppo A38 Battery and Charging

The smartphone is powered by a robust 5000mAh battery, capable of delivering long hours of usage.

What's more, it supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, ensuring your device charges up quickly, sparing you from lengthy waits.

Oppo A38 Price in India, Sale Date

The Oppo A38 is attractively priced at ₹12,999 and is currently available for pre-order on the brand’s website.

Shipping is scheduled to commence on September 13, 2023, and consumers can anticipate its availability on Flipkart around the same time. The device is offered in two colour options: Glowing Gold and Glowing Black.
