OnePlus set to launch its first foldable smartphone in India, the OnePlus Open, with exciting features and specifications.

OnePlus has confirmed the OnePlus Open India launch event, further adding to the excitement. The smartphone is scheduled to launch on October 19 in Mumbai at 7.30 PM IST.

As per reports, the OnePlus Open is expected to start at ₹1,19,999 in the Indian market.

It will likely be sold online via Amazon and through OnePlus’ official website.

The OnePlus Open is rumoured to be available in two colour options: Emerald Eclipse and Voyage Black.

Marketing images leaked beforehand have provided insights into the device's design and specifications.

The smartphone is expected to feature a foldable inner display, measuring 7.82 inches, with an OLED screen for stunning visuals and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution is reported to be 2,268 x 2,440 pixels, ensuring crisp and vibrant visuals.

Additionally, the outer display is said to come with a 6.31-inch OLED screen, also sporting a 120Hz refresh rate, with a resolution of 1,116 x 2,484 pixels.

OnePlus Open is speculated to boast an impressive triple camera setup. Anchored by a 48-megapixel primary sensor with a wide-angle lens, the device aims to deliver exceptional image quality.

Additionally, it could feature a 48-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera, allowing users to capture every moment with clarity and precision.

According to recent reports, the OnePlus Open has been spotted on the Geekbench certification site, hinting at powerful hardware specifications.

It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, accompanied by a substantial 12GB RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and performance.

The smartphone is rumoured to run on the latest Android 13 operating system, providing a seamless and user-friendly experience.

Moreover, the device is projected to house a 4,805mAh battery, complete with support for 100W wired fast charging, ensuring quick and hassle-free power top-ups on the go.
