Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro, Red Magic 7 gaming smartphones launched: check price, specs

The Nubia Red Magic 7 series, comprising the Red Magic 7 Pro and Red Magic 7 smartphones, has been launched in China. The phones are both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, while the Pro version gets a Red Core 1 dedicated gaming chip.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro, Red Magic 7 price

In China, The Nubia Red Magic 7 is priced starting around ₹46,100 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and prices go up to ₹65,100 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. The Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro is priced starting around ₹56,800 for the 12GB + 128GB variant, and goes up to around ₹88,700 for the 18GB + 1TB variant.

There is no official information about any plans for an India launch date or pricing details.

Nubia Red Magic 7 specifications

The Nubia Red Magic 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Nubia has touted some extra performance-related tweaks, including the Arc Performance Enhancement System, Magic Write, RAM Boost, and Magic GPU image enhancement. It also features an ICE 8.0 cooling system with an RGB fan spinning at over 20,000 RPM, a double inlet air design, and an aerospace-grade heat dissipation system. The phone also gets shoulder triggers for gaming with a 500Hz response rate.

The phone offers a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate.

For optics, the Nubia Red Magic 7 features a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It also features an 8MP front camera.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The phone ships with a 165W GaN charger, and Nubia says that phone can charge from 0-100 in 17 minutes. The Nubia Red Magic 7 comes with Red Magic 5.0, based on Android 12.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro specifications

The Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro shares much of the same specifications as the Nubia Red Magic 7, with some minor differences. The Pro version's display gets a 960Hz touch sampling rate, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Pro version is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, along with a special Red Core 1 dedicated gaming chip, that handles things like the shoulder triggers, and lighting effects. It comes with up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro also features an upgraded 16MP front-facing camera.

Nubia has packed in a 5,000mAh battery with 135W fast charging, and the supplied charger can charge the phone up completely in 15 minutes.
