The prospect of a Nothing smartwatch first surfaced when Mukul Sharma, a renowned tech leaker, discovered a trademark and certification listing filed by Nothing. This hints at the company's possible expansion into the smartwatch market.

Earlier in the year, Nothing secured a trademark for "CMF BY Nothing". Recently, this trademark was linked to a product certification listing under the model number "D395", which is categorized as a smartwatch.
