Nothing Phone 2a launch timeline, specifications leaked online

Nothing is set to introduce the mid-range Nothing Phone 2a, which promises to redefine the budget smartphone segment with its distinct design and innovative features.

Unique Design

As per leaks, the Nothing Phone 2a will showcase a novel design with a punch-hole front camera, as well as a horizontal placement for the dual rear cameras, deviating from the conventional vertical arrangement.

The rear cameras will be surrounded by the iconic LED glyphs, a signature feature from Nothing's previous smartphone models.

Additionally, the smartphone is slated to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a visually satisfying user experience.

Dimensity 7200 Chipset

In a significant departure from its previous chipset selections, Nothing has chosen to equip the Phone 2a with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.

This powerful and efficient chipset, built on a 4nm process, is expected to provide exceptional performance, incorporating two Cortex A715 cores at 2.8GHz, six Cortex A510 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G610 MP4 GPU.

Other Specs

As per leaks, the Nothing Phone 2a will boast a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture housed in the punch hole on the display, while the rear cameras are anticipated to feature 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide lenses.

Alongside these features, the device will include a substantial 4,920mAh battery, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharging.
