Nothing Phone (2) official image released ahead of India launch

Nothing has revealed an official image of its upcoming Phone 2, which launches on July 11.

Nothing Phone (2) official image released ahead of India launch

In an exciting update, Nothing, the technology company founded by Carl Pei, has released the first official image of the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2).

Nothing Phone 2 design features

The newly revealed image confirms that the Nothing Phone (2) will be available in two colour options: white and a new dark grey.

The overall design of the Nothing Phone 2 closely resembles its predecessor, with only minor modifications.

Notably, the Phone (2) features curved edges compared to the flat edges seen on the Phone (1), offering a potential improvement in aesthetics and ergonomics.

One of the notable features of the Nothing Phone (2) is its Glyph Interface, which has undergone a redesign and introduces additional functionalities.

Nothing has divided the LED lights on the Glyph Interface into smaller parts, allowing users to customise the device's visual experience. With software control, users can personalise the LED lighting in 33 different zones, enhancing the device's visual appeal.

The Glyph Interface also integrates with certain features, such as the volume indicator and timer. When adjusting the volume, the LED lights respond accordingly, providing visual feedback.

Additionally, the LED lights elegantly countdown when a timer is set, enhancing the user experience. Nothing has partnered with third-party apps like Uber and Zomato to expand the functionality of the Glyph Interface, enabling LED light integration with these applications.

Another addition to the Nothing Phone (2) is the Glyph Composer, providing users with the ability to create their own custom ringtones.

Additionally, in collaboration with Swedish House Mafia, Nothing has curated customizable ringtones for both Phone (2) and Phone (1) users.

Nothing Phone 2 specifications

While specific details about internal specifications are still undisclosed, preliminary information suggests that the Nothing Phone 2 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and 8 GB of RAM.

The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display, a triple rear camera setup with three 50 MP lenses, a 32 MP front-facing camera, and a 4,700 mAh battery.

Further updates on the Nothing Phone (2) are expected to be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
