Infinix Note 40 lineup to include new Cheetah X1 chip for fast charging

In a recent announcement, Infinix confirmed the upcoming launch of its Note 40 lineup on March 18.

The highlight of this launch is the unveiling of the dedicated Cheetah X1 chip, which will help with fast charging processes in some of the devices.

Infinix Note 40 - Better Charging Capabilities

One of the key features of the Cheetah X1 chip is its ability to deliver All-Round FastCharge 2.0, which boasts remarkable charging speeds.

Reports indicate that this technology can achieve up to 260W wired and 110W wireless charging. However, it is important to note that the announcement revealed that the X1 chip will currently support rates of up to 100W in the initial devices.

Infinix Note 40 - Optimisation for Battery Health

The Infinix Cheetah X1 chip comes with an innovative system designed to optimize charging rates, ultimately ensuring the health of the device's battery.

Through real-time monitoring, the chip maintains a delicate balance between charging speed and temperature, consequently extending the life of the battery cell.

Infinix Note 40 - Versatile Charging Scenarios

The platform offers eight distinct charging scenarios that cover wired, wireless, reverse wired, and reverse wireless charging. Furthermore, it includes specialised provisions for battery management during nighttime charging and under extreme temperature conditions.

Infinix's dedication to providing comprehensive charging solutions is evident in the thoughtful design of the Cheetah X1 chip.

Infinix has also prioritised user safety with the implementation of a 63-level safety shield module.

This module is specifically engineered to protect the device from potential risks, with automatic intervention and user alerts.
