Microsoft explores integration of ChatGPT tech into its services

Microsoft is rumoured to be exploring integration of Open AI's technology in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Bing.

After rumours of Microsoft’s potential $10 billion investment in Open AI, a new report now suggests that Microsoft is exploring the possibility of incorporating Open AI's language AI tech into its services like Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

According to the source, Microsoft has already integrated a variation of Open AI's text-generating GPT model into the autocomplete feature of Word. It is now researching to integrate it further into the other applications.

The company is also using Open AI's GPT tech to enhance search results in Outlook, enabling users to find the desired information without using keywords in the emails.

Additionally, Microsoft is working on a version of Bing that uses ChatGPT to respond to search queries in a move aimed to make the search engine more competitive with Google.
