iPhone 14 launch event confirmed for September 7

Apple is holding a new launch event on September 7 at 10:30 PM IST.

It seems expected that the highly anticipated iPhone 14 series will be unveiled at this presentation. According to rumours surrounding this future event, Apple may also possibly unveil new wearables at the same event.

The company may also announce watchOS 9, the forthcoming operating system updates for compatible Apple Watch models.

The unveiling of the iPhone 14 series is expected to be the focus of the event. On September 7, Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. According to reports, Apple may abandon the mini form factor of the iPhone 14 mini for the iPhone 14 Max with a 6.7-inch display.

In addition, it is expected that the Pro models would include the latest Apple A16 Bionic chip. Meanwhile, the non-pro variants could be powered by A15 Bionic chips from the current generation. iOS 16, the most recent version of Apple's iPhone operating system, may possibly get an official launch date at the event.

Moreover, two Apple Watch versions are rumoured to be under development as well. The Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to be an improved and more powerful version of the Watch Series 7, whereas the Apple Watch SE is also likely to get a successor this year.
