Instagram is bringing ads to search results

Get ready to see even more ads on Instagram.

Meta-owned Instagram has announced it will put ads within the platform's search results to target users searching for businesses, products and content.

Ads will show up in the feed that people can scroll when they tap into a post from search results. As well as search-based ads, the company is rolling out its "Reminder Ads" feature to all advertisers in feed.

These will help marketers build awareness, anticipation and consideration for upcoming events. Currently, ads can be only seen on the explore page, reels, stories and user profiles.
