The Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus sits at the very top of the new Reno 10 series. It offers the best features in the lineup, including a versatile camera system, rapid fast charging, and a powerful chipset.

But in today's crowded smartphone market, how does this device fare? Let's delve into the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G review and see for ourselves.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Price in India

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G is priced at ₹54,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Design & Utility

Oppo's Reno 10 Pro Plus is an eye-catcher with a design change including an oval-shaped camera module that houses a new periscopic telephoto lens. The phone is available in two shades - a sleek silver grey and an eye-catching purple.

Although the phone's sides are plastic, its ergonomics are well-balanced, lightweight, and comfortable to handle. Not to forget the premium-looking front part with its smooth curves and symmetrical bezels.

The Reno 10 Pro Plus also boasts the use of an AGC Dragontrail Star 2 cover upfront and Gorilla Glass 5 protecting the back.

However, the absence of an official IP rating and wireless charging might be cons to consider. Other utilities include a USB Type-C port, SIM card tray, a pair of stereo speakers, an infrared blaster, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Camera

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus' portrait expert capability is highlighted by the inclusion of a new 64 MP periscopic telephoto portrait camera, providing a substantial feature in any category.

This telephoto camera, alongside a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens, forms the rear camera system. How does this setup perform against the likes of Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra?

In terms of performance under low-light conditions, the Reno 10 Pro Plus' camera, assisted by Oppo's proprietary Mari Silicon X chip, tries its best to optimize brightness as effectively as it can. Let's not forget the capable 32 MP sensor selfie camera offering a good amount of detail and natural skin tones.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Display

Our first impression of the Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G includes a look at the 6.74-inch OLED display. With a 10-bit color display supporting HDR10+ and HDR video playback, the phone offers vibrant colors and deep contrast levels. It also features a 120hz LTPS dynamic refresh rate and legible brightness in outdoor conditions.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Performance

The Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G, powered by last year's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, offers high-graphic gaming capabilities and manages both temperature and power consumption effectively. With a spacious 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, the Reno 10 Pro Plus handles everyday performance tasks smoothly.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Software

The Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G comes with the user-friendly ColorOS v13.1, layered over Android 13, offering numerous useful features and customization options. However, system notifications and bloatware are potential drawbacks.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Battery & Charging

With a 4700mAh battery and 100W SuperVOOC charger, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus ensures you won't run out of power at the wrong time.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Verdict

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G comes with a higher price point, but its blend of superior portrait capabilities and robust performance could make it an attractive option in the premium mid-range market.
