CMF Neckband Pro & CMF Buds by Nothing: First Impression, Active Noise Cancellation at affordable price

CMF expands in India with the Buds and Neckband Pro, featuring advanced ANC, superior sound quality, and robust battery life. Designed for affordability, these gadgets are durable, stylish, and compatible with the Nothing X app.

CMF Neckband Pro & CMF Buds by Nothing: First Impression, Active Noise Cancellation at affordable price

The CMF brand from Nothing just got bigger in India with two new additions - the CMF Buds and the CMF Neckband Pro.

Sticking to their roots, these gadgets are all about offering value, pitched as wallet-friendly picks separate from Nothing's pricier options. Let's dive into what these newbies bring to the table.

CMF Buds

Let's start with the CMF Buds. These little guys are serious about shutting out the world with their active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities.

In theory, you should be able to drown out the drone of daily life with ANC that hits up to 42 dB and covers frequencies up to 2900 Hz. Plus, with Transparency Mode, you can jump back into reality without skipping a beat.

But CMF says they're not just smart; they sound amazing too. Thanks to a 12.4 mm bio-fibre driver and some fancy Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, your music is likely to have depth and clarity across all frequencies.

As for battery life, you're looking at 35.5 hours with the case and a quick charge that gives you 6.5 hours of playtime in just 10 minutes.

The pair we got our hands on came in a striking orange color, but they’re also available in dark grey and light grey, catering to different tastes and styles.

The buds work with the Nothing X app, where you can tweak EQ settings, find your lost buds, and even cut down on lag if you're gaming on a Nothing phone. They're also tough, with IP54 water and dust resistance, so no need to worry about getting caught in the rain.

CMF Neckband Pro

Moving on to the CMF Neckband Pro. This isn't your average neckband. It's the first to offer 50 dB hybrid ANC, making it a powerhouse for noise cancellation.

It also comes with a 3-in-1 Smart Dial that lets you control your music and calls without missing a step. And with IP55 rating, it's ready for your sweaty workouts or unexpected downpours.

Sound-wise, the Neckband Pro doesn't disappoint. A 13.6 mm driver and a special chamber design give your bass depth and richness without distortion.

Then you've got the Spatial Audio Effect – it's like the sound is coming at you from all around, making everything feel super real and alive. Battery life is impressive, with 37 hours of playback, and a quick 10-minute charge gets you 18 hours of listening time.

Just like the buds, the Neckband Pro comes in a choice of colours, including the eye-catching orange of our review unit. And yes, it syncs up with the Nothing X app too, keeping all that control right at your fingertips.

CMF Buds & CMF Neckband Pro First Impression

All in all, CMF has launched relatively straightforward audio products in the Indian market with one kicker; you get active noise cancellation, which is starting to pop up everywhere, even in more budget-friendly options.

There are a lot of hit-or-miss ANC products out there in this price bracket, so it's going to be interesting to see how the CMF Buds Pro and the CMF Neckband Pro stack up. Keep an eye out for our in-depth reviews on editorji, coming your way soon.
