Disappointed by India's performance in shooting so far in Tokyo 2020 Olympics? There could still be a chance for the 15-member strong contingent to pick up multiple medals including a gold in Tokyo on Tuesday. There are two mixed team events in Shooting on Tuesday and the Indians in contention are expected to shine.

Manu Bhaker & Saurabh Chaudhary in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team
While Manu Bhaker's pistol malfunctioned in the 10m Air Pistol qualification, she has a shot at redemption in the mixed team event with Saurabh Chaudhary. Saurabh, meanwhile, topped the qualification in his individual 10m air pistol event but finished 7th and will be raring to go in the mixed team where India has a bright chance. The pair started shooting together as a team in 2019 and went on to win 5 straight World Cup Golds in the run-up to the Olympics in Tokyo. The two 19-year-olds might have had a poor start to their Olympic journey but the 10m air pistol mixed team event is India's best chance at shooting gold at the Olympics after 13 years. The 2nd Indian pair in this event will be Yashaswini Singh Deswal & Abhishek Verma.

      2. Elavaneil Valarivan and Divyansh Singh Panwar in 10m Air Rifle Mixed team
The pressure is less as compared to individual events said 19-year-old Divyansh Singh Panwar as he will pair up with Elavaneil Valarivan in the mixed team event in 10m Air Rifle. The pair have had some success with gold in New Delhi Shooting World Cup recently and will be eager to put their talent on display once again in Tokyo. The 2nd Indian pair in this event will be Anjum Mooudgil and Deepak Kumar.
