<p>The Galaxy Z Fold 7 changes that. It feels like a proper smartphone &mdash; one that just happens to unfold. Samsung&rsquo;s seventh-generation foldable is now lighter, slimmer, and easily its most impressive effort yet.</p>

<p>For the first time, the outer screen doesn&rsquo;t feel like a compromise. I could comfortably use it for quick replies or scrolling without needing to open the device.</p>
<p>But with the knowledge that there&rsquo;s now a massive 8-inch display (up from 7.6 inches) just one unfold away, I often found myself opening the Fold 7 to watch videos, check my emails, and review documents. That&rsquo;s the magic of a foldable done right.</p>
<p>On the specs front, the inner display remains as impressive as ever. It&rsquo;s a Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO panel with a resolution of 2,184 x 1,968, peak brightness of 2,600 nits, and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. However, there are two important changes worth noting.</p>
<p>First, Samsung has replaced the under-display selfie camera from the Z Fold 6 with a punch-hole cutout near the top of the right panel. This does break up the uninterrupted look of the screen, but like most punch-hole cameras, it quickly fades into the background during everyday use.</p>

At night, the Fold 7's shots remained surprisingly sharp with &nbsp;accurate white balance.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The 3x telephoto lens delivers noticeably sharper and clearer shots than before, though image quality starts to drop once you push past that optical range.</p>
<p>Portrait shots come out well too, with accurate edge detection and a pleasingly soft background blur, especially when using the 3x telephoto lens. The ultrawide lens is the weakest of the three. It&rsquo;s decent for landscapes but suffers from visible edge distortion.&nbsp;</p>
<p>As for the front cameras, both the inner and outer displays use 10MP sensors that deliver detailed, good-looking selfies. The 10MP punch-hole camera on the inner screen replaces last year&rsquo;s 4MP under-display sensor and takes noticeably sharper looking shots.</p>
<p>Video quality on the Z Fold 7 is the best I&rsquo;ve seen on any foldable so far. Footage is crisp, vivid, and detailed, and watching it back on those large, high-res displays feels especially satisfying.</p>
<p>Samsung&rsquo;s new ProVisual Engine also steps things up with always-on 10-bit HDR+ for richer colors, improved contrast, and better subject focus. The phone can shoot in 8K at 30fps, but I preferred sticking to the smoother and more practical 4K at 60fps.</p>

<p>Of course, all that power means battery life becomes even more important. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 still relies on the same 4,400mAh &nbsp;cell as the Fold 6.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In a three-hour streaming test over Wi-Fi, running the main screen at full brightness, the Fold 7 dropped from 100 percent to 82 percent. That&rsquo;s a slight improvement over last year&rsquo;s Fold 6, which hit 78 percent in the same test, likely thanks to the improved efficiency of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Still, battery life here is decent, not exceptional.</p>
<p>Charging speeds don&rsquo;t do much to impress either. The Fold 7 supports up to 25W wired charging and 15W wireless, which feels underwhelming for a 2025 flagship.</p>
<p>It gets to 50 percent in about 30 minutes with a wired charger, though you won&rsquo;t find one included in the box. As with other Galaxy devices this year, it&rsquo;s Qi2 ready but lacks the built-in magnets for attaching accessories like wireless chargers or battery packs.</p>

<p>Let&rsquo;s start with performance because these three phones are totally different beasts. The Vivo X200 FE runs on the Dimensity 9300+, the Reno 14 Pro has the Dimensity 8450, and the OnePlus 13S flexes with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite.</p>

Plus, it stayed cool at 36.8 degrees, which is solid for long sessions.</p>
<p>Vivo wasn&rsquo;t far behind, averaging 89.2fps with 5% lows around 86.6fps. The gameplay was smooth but it ran hotter, hitting 40 degrees.</p>
<p>Reno 14 Pro is capped at 60fps but nailed a stable 59.5fps average and kept temps low at 36.4 degrees. So while it&rsquo;s not the fastest, it&rsquo;s reliable.</p>
<p>If gaming&rsquo;s your priority, OnePlus and Vivo clearly bring the heat. But what about cameras?</p>
<h2><strong>Cameras</strong></h2>
<p>Starting with the Vivo X200 FE &mdash; it&rsquo;s packing a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP 3X periscope telephoto with OIS, and an 8MP ultrawide.</p>
<p>The OnePlus 13S keeps it simple &mdash; a 50MP main with OIS and a 50MP 2X telephoto. Oh, and a 32MP selfie cam.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Now, I was a huge fan of the Vivo X200 Pro, so I had high hopes for the 200 FE.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In daylight, all three impress. Vivo&rsquo;s shots pop with contrast, Reno keeps it natural, and OnePlus sits nicely in between. But when it comes to shadows and detail, Vivo pulls ahead.</p>
<p>Low light sees Vivo&rsquo;s colours staying the most natural. OnePlus tends to overexpose, while Reno holds steady.</p>
<p>The lack of an ultrawide on OnePlus hurts. Between Vivo and Oppo, Vivo&rsquo;s is better&mdash;Oppo struggles with flare and softness.</p>
<p>Portraits on OnePlus&rsquo;s 2x telephoto give creamy bokeh but average edge detection. Vivo and Oppo do better here, with more natural skin tones and bokeh.</p>
<p>For video, all shoot 4K 60fps. OnePlus and Reno boost colours, Vivo keeps it true-to-life. Vivo also handles low light best.</p>
<p>Selfies see Vivo nailing colour accuracy, while Oppo and OnePlus go punchier.</p>

<p>There&rsquo;s no shortage of wireless earbuds in 2025, but every now and then, something low-key and weirdly brilliant pops up. Sony&rsquo;s new WF-C710N buds are exactly that. Priced at ₹8,990, Sony claims they bring flagship performance to the mid-range. But on paper, that doesn&rsquo;t quite add up. No LDAC. No multi-driver setup. Not even top-tier ANC numbers.</p>
<p>And yet, once you pop them in, they do something a lot of earbuds forget to do &mdash; they just sound right.</p>
<h3><strong>Sony WF-C710N: Sound Quality&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>Right out of the box, the Sony WF-C710N nails audio performance. The tuning is balanced, the soundstage is wide, and the overall clarity feels surprisingly refined. Tracks like Baba O&rsquo;Riley by The Who and Africa by Toto sound open and detailed, with distinct instrument separation and crisp highs. Even on bass-heavy songs like Do I Wanna Know or Arabella by Arctic Monkeys, the low end stays punchy without overwhelming the vocals or treble.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.editorji.com/tech-news/gadget-review/sony-wh-1000xm5-review-the-best-just-got-better-1663752187567">Sony</a> is working with a single 5mm driver and support for just SBC and AAC, which might sound limiting. But its DSEE, or Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, handles audio processing beautifully. It upscales compressed audio and makes everything sound more natural and fuller. There&rsquo;s no harshness, no over-engineered edge, just a clean and lifelike presentation.</p>
<p>Volume levels are decent, though not the loudest around. Still, the tuning is so clean and controlled that you rarely feel the need to push them to the max.</p>
<p>The Sony Headphones Connect app adds a lot of flexibility. You get a full EQ, a bunch of presets (the "Bright" one quickly became my go-to), and a &ldquo;Find Your Equaliser&rdquo; feature that builds a sound profile based on your preferences. It&rsquo;s one of the better implementations I&rsquo;ve seen on any audio app.</p>
<p>There&rsquo;s no low-latency gaming mode here, so if you&rsquo;re someone who games a lot on your phone, that&rsquo;s something to keep in mind. These earbuds are clearly tuned for music and calls, not competitive gaming.</p>

<p>On the noise cancellation front, the design of the WF-C710N offers surprisingly good passive isolation even before you turn anything on. Once you do, Sony&rsquo;s Digital Noise Cancellation kicks in. It prioritizes comfort and does particularly well with higher-frequency sounds like chatter or AC hum. It won&rsquo;t completely silence a noisy subway, but it gets you close without the ear pressure some ANC buds cause. For day-to-day use, it&rsquo;s solid.</p>
<p>Adaptive Sound Control is a standout. It learns where and how you use your earbuds and automatically switches between noise cancelling and ambient modes based on your routine. There&rsquo;s also Quick Attention mode &mdash; just tap and hold the bud to temporarily lower the volume for quick conversations. It works instantly and feels seamless.</p>
<p>Transparency mode is also well done. It sounds natural and doesn&rsquo;t have that fake, overly bright hiss that some earbuds produce. You just hear the world around you, the way you&rsquo;re supposed to.</p>
<p>Call quality holds up well. Even in noisy spaces, your voice comes through clearly and background noise stays in check. You can take calls confidently without worrying about sounding like you're underwater.</p>

<p>The Sony WF-C710N comes in a pill-shaped, semi-transparent case that stands out from the usual. It has a bit of a Cyberpunk-meets-industrial aesthetic that feels fresh, especially in the Blue variant. You can actually see some of the internals through the shell, which gives it a gadgety, engineered vibe that I really like. That said, they could&rsquo;ve hidden the red and yellow wires a bit better; they&rsquo;re clearly visible through the transparent shell and kind of break the otherwise clean look.</p>
<p>The case is compact enough to slip into most coin pockets, but it does bulge out a bit more than others. The hinge, though, is a weak spot. It creaks slightly when you open or close it, and the plastic exterior feels like it could scratch pretty easily with regular use.</p>
<p>The buds themselves carry that same translucent, techy design . Sure, Nothing did it first with their earbuds, but I like Sony&rsquo;s approach too. They also skipped the stem in favour of a rounded, capsule-style shape that blends into your ear. Personally, I found the stemless design less secure, especially during runs or workouts</p>
<p>They&rsquo;re also a little top-heavy, which makes them more prone to slipping out if you&rsquo;re moving around a lot. However, the in-ear fit is snug and you do get extra tips in the box to help you get it just right. The buds are rated IPX4, so they're fine for light rain and sweaty gym sessions, but don&rsquo;t expect them to survive more rugged conditions.</p>
<h3><strong>Sony WF-C710N: Connectivity, Controls &amp; Battery Life</strong></h3>
<p>The Sony WF-C710N supports Bluetooth 5.3, which may not be the latest, but still delivers a reliable connection in most scenarios. I tested it primarily with an iPhone and occasionally with Android devices, and pairing was smooth across both. You also get Google Fast Pair, which makes the initial setup on Android pretty seamless.</p>

And I&rsquo;ve been using it in the wild: through Delhi metros, monsoon mishaps, and long editing sessions, to see if this thing can actually hold up.</p>

<p>This laptop isn&rsquo;t just built for boardrooms; it&rsquo;s built for battlefields. Not metaphorically; Asus put this thing through 24 different MIL-STD 810H tests. <p data-start="2072" data-end="2231"><strong>Realme 15 Pro goes all in on cameras, display and AI&mdash;but can it outplay the Nord CE 5&rsquo;s speed or the Phone 3a&rsquo;s vibe? Here&rsquo;s our take after real-world testing.</strong></p>

<p>The Realme 15 Pro is the latest addition to the brand&rsquo;s popular number series, and, as always, there&rsquo;s a lot of excitement around it.</p>
<p>But it faces some tough competition from the Nord CE 5, a straight-up performance beast, and the Nothing Phone 3a a phone that oozes style.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I&rsquo;ve been using all three for a while now, and I&rsquo;ve got thoughts.</p>
<h2><strong>Performance</strong></h2>
<p>Let&rsquo;s talk performance, because on the surface, all three of these phones sound solid.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Realme 15 Pro rocks the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, the Nord CE 5 is on the Dimensity 8350 Apex and the Nothing Phone 3a, runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.</p>
<p>But, the Realme &amp; Nothing get LPDDR4X RAM, while the Nord CE 5 steps it up with LPDDR5X RAM. For storage, Realme and Nord bring UFS 3.1, whereas Nothing, sticks to UFS 2.2. Not exactly a wise choice.</p>
<p>Also, only the OnePlus supports expandable storage, and I am all for it.</p>
<p>In Antutu, the Nord CE 5 absolutely smoked the other two with a score of over 1.4 million. Realme wasn&rsquo;t bad, it scored about 1.09 million, but Nothing didn&rsquo;t even hit a million.</p>
<p>3DMark&rsquo;s Wildlife Extreme Stress test was wild. The Nord had the highest loop score of 3035, but its stability was just 33.2%. Both Realme and Nothing had a stability of over 99%, but their loop scores were way lower. In fact, Nothing&rsquo;s score was a third of what OnePlus&rsquo; score, which is insane.</p>
<p>In the CPU throttle test however, the Nothing Phone 3a impressed. It dropped to just 92% and had solid scores. Realme dropped to 89%, but had the highest peak performance. The Nord kinda fell apart here. It throttled to 69%, and had the lowest average.</p>
<p>But like I've always said, benchmarks are just numbers. Gaming tells you way more.</p>
<p>Both Realme and OnePlus support 90fps in BGMI, but OnePlus has some clever, frame-boosting tricks. In a 10-minute match, it averaged 118.4fps, dipping to just 112.5 fps for 5% lows. It also ran cooler at 37.4&deg;C.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Realme also did well, averaging 89.5 fps. But the 5% lows dropped to 86.1, and it ran warm at 40.1&deg;C.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Phone 3a supports 120fps in BGMI, but we never crossed 90. It averaged 89.8fps with max temps at 34&deg;C.</p>
<p>I mean, sure, it's stable, but what&rsquo;s the point if it can&rsquo;t deliver what it should?</p>
<p>Also, shoutout to OnePlus and Realme for including bypass charging. That&rsquo;s a lifesaver during long gaming sessions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>So if gaming&rsquo;s a big deal for you, this is pretty much a two-horse race. But what about cameras?</p>
<h2><strong>Cameras</strong></h2>
<p>Well, the Nothing Phone 3a packs a solid setup&mdash;a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP 2x telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Realme looks like it comes with three cameras, but actually, it&rsquo;s just a 50MP main with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide. On the front though, it flexes with a 50MP selfie shooter.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Nord CE 5 keeps it simple with a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide, and a 16MP selfie cam.</p>
<p>All three main cameras are solid, but each has its quirks. Realme usually nails shots but fumbles white balance here and there.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nothing Phone 3a sometimes underexposes in bright light, and the Nord CE 5 plays it safe&mdash;consistent, but not exciting.&nbsp;</p>
<p>That said, I&rsquo;d still pick the Phone 3a. Its colours pop, and the detail is just a bit sharper.</p>
<p>In low light Realme takes the crown. It grabs the most detail and nails exposure.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nothing tends to over-brighten, and the Nord often ends up too dark.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Ultrawide is another win for Realme &mdash;great detail, even if a bit dim. Nothing and Nord are fine, but Nord&rsquo;s output feels the flattest.</p>
<p>Video is a mixed bag. Nothing maxes out at 4K30, while the other two go up to 4K60. All three of them have pretty good stabilisation. But I&rsquo;d still go with Nothing&mdash;it looks better, and has better colours.</p>
<p>Realme nails selfies with sharp detail and solid edge detection, while the Phone 3a also holds up well. Nord&rsquo;s photos feel flat and occasionally off in colour.</p>
<p>For me, the Nothing Phone 3a is the best overall camera pick, thanks to its versatile setup. Realme comes in a close second with strong low-light and ultrawide performance.</p>
<p>Now, let's quickly take a look at the other stuff.&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>Design</strong></h2>
<p>The Nord CE 5 also looks great, especially in this blue finish, but still misses out on the alert slider and even the new plus key.</p>
<p>Realme 15 Pro has a mostly plastic body. Ours came in Silky Purple, which looks nice, but I don&rsquo;t like how cheap the plastic back feels. &nbsp;However, Realme does feel the lightest and slimmest in the hand.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nothing of course, has its glyph lights, but the Realme too has a cool, colour-changing pulse ring around one of the cameras to alert you about notifications.</p>
<p>You can also shake the Realme 15 Pro to launch the camera or turn on the torch &mdash; a trick borrowed from Moto phones. It&rsquo;s just as gimmicky, but I have to admit, I kind of like it.</p>
<p>Realme also wins big on durability with its IP66, 68, and 69 ratings, along with Gorilla Glass 7i on the front.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nord has IP65, and Nothing settles for IP64 with Panda Glass.&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>Display</strong></h2>
