Former West Indies cricketer and two times T20 World Cup winner Marlon Samuels has found himself in the middle of another controversy. Samuels has been charged by the ICC's anti-corruption unit on four counts of breaching the Emirates Cricket Board's anti-corruption code for the players participating in the T10 League.

Some of the offenses include failing the disclosure of gift receipt, hospitality, which can bring a player participating into disrepute. He also failed to cooperate with the official of the anti-corruption unit and also delayed the designated anti-corruption official's investigation. Samuels has been given a time period of two weeks from September 21 in order to respond to the charges.

Samuels, who retired last year has had charges against him throughout his career, with the most prominent being banned for 2 years for receiving money, or benefit or other reward that could bring him or the game of cricket into disrepute.
