      Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Saturday dismissed rumours about his resignation, saying ‘it's not at all true’

      There are reports doing rounds that suggest Yediyurappa, who is facing rebellion from several leaders within the party, offered to resign citing ill health during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday evening.

      Yediyurappa said he discussed development projects with the PM Modi amid reports on probable leadership change in Karnataka unit of the BJP. Yediyurappa also met BJP chief JP Nadda and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday.

      After his meeting with Nadda, the Karnataka chief minister said they discussed in detail the development of the party in Karnataka.

      Yediyurappa told reporters that party has ‘a very good opinion’ of him and that he will ‘work for the party to come back to power in the state again’
