The European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope is the world's most advanced astronomical instrument. It is otherwise inaccessible for most people since it is located on the high mountains of Chile. A LEGO telescope replicating the real one has been created with 3104 pieces for people to get a glimpse of it. The parts are fully movable. The model is placed at the German headquarters of the European Southern Observatory.
