T20 World Cup 2022: Shoaib Akhtar predicts India won't make it past semi-finals

After Pakistan's shocking defeat to Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup 2022, former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar lashed out at the Men in Green's performance in the tournament so far, blaming the players, selection committee, and management.

The 47-year-old also gave his opinion on the Indian team saying that they too aren't unbeatable and will be returning home after the semi-final stage of the World Cup.

"I had already told Pakistan will come back this week. And India will come back next week after playing semi-final. Woh bhi koi Tees Maar Khan nahi hai (India are also not some unbeatable side) and we … I am so angry I don’t want to say some bad things." said Akhtar on his Youtube channel.

The former Pakistan pacer also questioned skipper Babar Azam's calls, stating how he always said there's a "major flaw in captaincy".

Shoaib is not the only one who has criticised the Pakistani side. Other former players & captains like Wasim Akram, Misbah-ul-Haq, Waqar Younis, Aaqib Javed & Moin Khan also hit out at the Pakistani team after their failure against Zimbabwe.
