ICC T20 World Cup 2022 NED vs ZIM Highlights : After registering 3 consecutive defeats, the Netherlands beat Zimbabwe by 5 wickets in the Group B game to finally open their account in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup 2022.

Winning the toss, though Zimbabwe decided to bat first, the decision did not work in their favour. A disciplined show by the Dutch bowlers forced the Zimbabwean team to walk back after posting a meagre 117. Sikandar Raza & Sean Williams top scored with a 24-ball 40 and 28 in 23 balls respectively. While Paul van Meekeren was the pick of the Dutch bowlers with figures of 3/29, Brandon Glover, Logan van Beek and Bas de Leede got two wickets each.

In reply, the Dutch although lost their opener Stephen Myburgh early, Tom Cooper and Max ODowd's 73-run partnership made the paltry total a cakewalk for the Netherlands. While ODowd scored a half-century, Cooper got 32 in 29 before losing his wicket to Jongwe. The Netherlands easily chased down the 118-run target with 2 overs to spare, thereby spoiling Zimbabwe's chances of making it to the semis of the marquee event.
