T20 World Cup 2022: India vs Bangladesh preview, Adelaide weather forecast, Playing XI

After their first loss at the T20 World Cup 2022 against South Africa, Team India will be eager to get back to winning ways as Rohit Sharma's men take on Bangladesh in Adelaide on November 2.

Though Bangladesh have won 2 of their 3 games so far, but both those victories came against low ranked Zimbabwe and Netherlands. Never the less, the Bangla Tigers have proved time and again that they are no pushovers and Team India aren't taking them lightly.

India may posses a lethal fast bowling unit but batting has been a little concerning. While Rohit Sharma has just 1 score of over 50 in his last 9 T20I innings, KL Rahul has looked a mere shadow of himself in this tournament.

Virat Kohli back to his vintage best and Suryakumar Yadav in top touch makes of a very solid middle order but 2 back-to-back failures by Dinesh Karthik has been the talk of the town. With him not a 100% fit, Rishabh Pant might be considered for the game vs Bangladesh.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

India has dominated Bangladesh in the shortest format of the game and has won 10 of the 11 T20I between the two sides. Interestingly, this will be the 1st time that the two teams lock horns in this format in almost 3 years.

ADELAINE WEATHER FORCAST

T20 World Cup has seen rain play spoil sport in many games and showers are expected in India vs Bangladesh game as well. While there were thunderstorms in Adelaide on Tuesday, there's 75% chance of rain on the match day. But with just 1-3mm rainfall, the match is not likely to be entirely washed out.
