In an exclusive conversation with Vikram Chandra for the India Story, Praggnanandhaa spoke about the vital support he received from his school and family in order to get the best out of his potential at such a young age.

The Asian Games 2023 will see a lot of Indian athletes shine for India in their respective sports in order to try and get the best medal tally so far for the country.

Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, India's 18-year-old Chess prodigy will also be trying to contribute to the same.

In an exclusive conversation with Vikram Chandra for the India Story, Praggnanandhaa spoke about the vital support he received from his school and family in order to get the best out of his potential at such a young age.

When asked about how he felt when he got greeted back by his school, Pragg said

"Yeah, it was. And coming back to the school, that I studied. It's. Yeah, it's. It's really a proud moment".

"I think there have been a good support for me. I didn't really have to focus on my studies. They're there to help me out when i have to give my exams and. Yeah, huge thanks to them for. For everything".

"I'm very happy to see that it's usually the players or the person who achieves something gets the recognition. But in this case, I'm just happy that their efforts are also being recognized. I think it's a good thing to see."
