Rafael Nadal remains the most successful men's singles tennis player in the Open Era as he is ahead of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer who have won 20 Grand Slams each

Rafael Nadal has won a record 14th title at Roland Garros as he defeated world No. 8 Casper Ruud of Norway in Paris on Sunday. With this win, Nadal continues to be the most successful tennis star in Men's singles in the Open Era with 22 Grand Slams.

The 23-year old youngster from Norway was no match against his childhood idol as Nadal put on a dominant show from the beginning of the match and won the first set 6-3. Casper Ruud tried to make a comeback in the second set but Nadal was in no mood to let the Norwegian take advantage and won 6-3.

The first time finalist at the French Open failed to put up a show against the greatest clay court player as Nadal closed out the match 6-3, 6-3, 6-0.

The former world No.1 remains the most successful men's singles tennis player in the Open Era as he is ahead of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer who have won 20 Grand Slams each.
