IPL 2024 points table: Bengaluru edge CSK out of the league to qualify for playoffs

In a match-up for the ages, Royal Challengers Bengaluru triumphed over Chennai Super Kings to qualify for the 2024 IPL playoffs at home on May 18.

After putting 218 runs on the board, RCB needed to defeat Chennai by 201 runs to keep their NRR on course and make the knockouts.

While in the last over, it seemed like MS Dhoni would pull off another stunner, RCB kept their cool to win their 6th game in a row.

They finish their league campaign with 14 points from 14 outings and will play the Eliminator on May 22, 2024.

The Super Sunday, on May 19, will host the deciders for the 2nd and 3rd spots on the points table.

If Sunrisers Hyderabad win their game in the afternoon and Kolkata Knight Riders defeat Rajasthan in the evening, Sanju Samson & Co. will finish 3rd.
