What comes a major setback for India's preparations for World T20, pacer Deepak Chahar revealed that he would take four-five more weeks to completely recover from the hamstring injury. 
Chahar is currently doing his rehabilitation at National Cricket Academy. 
While talking to news agency PTI after his rehab session, Chahar said that he is bowling four-five overs at one go as per his rehab programme and the recovery is going pretty well.
The 29-year-old pacer sustained an injury during the West Indies's home series, which had ruled him out of the entire IPL 2022.

In some viral images, the young batter can be seen pushing away a groundsman who was trying to click a selfie with him.

Ruturaj Gaikwad&rsquo;s gesture with a groundsman in the final T20I in Bengaluru between India and South Africa hasn&rsquo;t gone down well with fans on social media.
Netizens are irked with the opener&rsquo;s conduct with a groundsman. Images show the young batter pushing away a member of the groundstaff, who was trying to click a selfie with him during the rain delay.
Calling him out for his rude attitude, one of the Twitter users wrote, &lsquo;Gaikwad &lsquo;mistreating, disrespecting groundsman, worst behaviour have to teach some sense then go to international cricket&rsquo;
Another user asked him to &lsquo;learn from his senior teammates&rsquo;.
&lsquo;Ruturaj showing attitude while taking a selfie with a groundsman, not anyone can treat everyone equally like Rohit Sharma,&rsquo; one user compared.
However, there were a few who came to Gaikwad&rsquo;s defence, stating that Covid-19 could have been the reason why he behaved in that way.
Gaikwad, who scored only 96 runs in 5 outings against South Africa, will next be seen in the Ireland series that starts on June 26.

Mumbai Indians cricketer Suryakumar Yadav hugged Rajasthan Royals' spinner Yuzvendra Chahal in a match which Mumbai won. Suryakumar Yadav 51 off 39 helped Mumbai to win their first match after 8-consecutive losses in IPL 2022.

Talking about his hug to Chahal, Yadav said in the post-match press conference that he didn't tell anything to Chahal during the game as it was a sweet banter and he is happy that he got away with the umpire's call.
Mumbai Indians' second highest run-scorer this season further added that Chahal is a great bowler and he enjoyed playing in front of him in the middle overs.
Chahal used a DRS referral in the 8th over after Yadav was given not-out by the on-field umpire. The Umpire's decision stood left Chahal disappointed. Suryakumar went to give Suryakumar a hug to console him.

The surge Indian Premier League is not going down well with Pakistan Cricket Board. PCB chief Ramiz Raja has decided to challenge the proposed two-and-a-half-month IPL window in future ICC meet. 
"We will challenge it in a very forceful manner and put our point across strongly in the ICC, " PCB chief said.

Earlier, BCCI honourary secretary Jay Shah said that the Indian board will be getting an extended window for the IPL in the ICC's next Future Tour and Programme (FTP) cycle starting from 2024 till 2031.
Notably, Indian Premier League became second biggest league in the sporting world after its media rights were sold for a whopping Rs 48,390 crore recently.

In order to win their first Test series in England after 15 years, Team India will lock horns with Ben Stokes' side in the rescheduled fifth Test on July 1. 
Notably, the last match of the series was postponed in 2021 due to Covid-19 scare.
