IPL 2022: Shane Bond reveals the reason behind Arjun Tendulkar's non-inclusion in Mumbai Playing XI

The non-inclusion of Arjun Tendulkar in Mumbai Indians' Playing XI in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League has raised many eyebrows and now MI's bowling coach Shane Bond revealed the reason behind it.

While talking to Sportskeeda, New Zealand's former bowler said that Arjun still has a lot of hard work and development to do.

He added that when a cricketer is playing for a team like Mumbai, making it to the squad is one thing but entering the Playing XI is another.

Bond further added that Arjun needs to work on his batting and fielding before finding a place on the team.

Notably, Mumbai fans have been speculating about Arjun Tendulkar's inclusion in the Mumbai line-up after the five-time champions were out of the playoffs race but that did not happen. Arjun was bought for Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh by Mumbai Indians in the last two auctions.
