Delhi Capitals moved to the sixth spot on IPL 2022 after edging Kolkata Knight Riders out by 4 wickets at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday (April 28). Delhi now have four wins in eight matches. Meanwhile, Kolkata remained at the eighth position on IPL 2022 team standings after losing their sixth game in nine matches. Kolkata need to win the remaining matches to keep their playoff hope alive. Delhi and Punjab are the only two teams in IPL 2022 who have eight points each. All the other top teams have 10 or more points.

Gujarat Titans are continuing to top the IPL 2022 leaderboard with maximum 14 points in 8 matches. They are followed by Rajasthan Royals with 12 points and Sunrisers Hyderabad with 10 points. Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore too have 10 points but SRH's net run rate is superior to RCB and LSG.

Moreover, Rajasthan's Jos Buttler continues to hold the orange cap with the most 499 runs in 8 matches, including three centuries. While Lucknow captain KL Rahul is at the second spot on the list of top run-getters in IPL 2022 after scoring a 62-ball hundred against Mumbai. Rahul now has 368 runs in 8 matches after scoring his second century of the season. Yuzvendra Chahal continues to hold the purple cap with 18 wickets in eight matches. However, his best buddy Kuldeep Yadav is not behind the leggie. Kuldeep has 17 wickets in 8 matches and is just one wicket less than Chahal.
