Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab Kings have won 4 out of 7 matches in IPL 2022 and are currently placed 6th on the points table. Captain Mayank has been struggling to get his form but Shikhar Dhawan has been in good touch and scoring runs freely. Liam Livingstone has been consistently performing well with the bat. Jitesh Sharma and Shahrukh Khan have been doing good but the Kings haven't been unable to convert good starts into a big score. Arshdeep Singh and Kagiso Rabada have been bowling brilliantly in the death overs and the team is coming to the game after defending 188 vs Chennai Super Kings.

After scoring a century against Mumbai Indians, LSG’s captain KL Rahul would look to continue his form against his former side Punjab Kings. KL Rahul-led team has power hitters like Manish Pandey, Marcus Stoinis, Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni who have been winning matches for the team consistently. The team has many all-rounders but the highlight has been Krunal Pandya who has looked impressive throughout the tournament. With Mohsin Khan, Dushmantha Chameera and spin bowler Ravi Bishnoi, the bowling unit has been playing its role perfectly. Having won 5 out of 8 matches, LSG is currently placed 4th in the points table.
