Advantage India at stumps on Day 2.

Kuldeep Yadav and Mohd Siraj rattled Bangladesh's batting lineup as the hosts were reduced to 133-8.

Resuming Day 2 at 278-6, Shreyas Iyer was castled by Ebadot Hossain early on. But R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav proved to be a nuisance for the hosts, stitching together a 92-run stand to put India well ahead of the eight ball.

While Ashwin scored his 13th Test fifty, Kuldeep scored a patient 40 as India's first innings ended on 404.

Bangladesh had the worst possible start as Mohd Siraj struck with the very first ball. Veteran pacer Umesh Yadav piled up more misery on Bangla Tigers with a wicket of Yasir Ali, reducing them to 5-2.

Then, Litton Das and Zakir Hasan tried to rebuild after early blows but Litton's onfield altercation with Siraj saw him lose his concentration as he was castled the next ball.

With Ashwin failing to find his line & length, Kuldeep Yadav stepped up and spun the web around Bangladeshi batters, snaffling 4 wickets. With 2 wickets in hand at stumps on day 2, the hosts still need 71 runs to avoid the follow-on.
