Ranji Trophy 2022-23: Arjun Tendulkar slams hundred on first-class debut

Arjun Tendulkar emulated his father Sachin Tendulkar's feat in Ranji Trophy as he slammed his maiden first-class century on debut for Goa.

Coincidentally, it was in December of 1988 – 34 years ago – that Sachin scored a 100 on his Ranji Trophy debut as well.

Arjun came to bat at No. 7 and stitched 200-plus run stand with fellow centurion Suyash Prabhudesai to bail Goa out of shambles.

Earlier this year, Arjun, who played white-ball cricket for Mumbai, switched to Goa to explore more opportunities. He has been part of Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League for two seasons now but is yet to make his debut in the cash-rich league.
