Morocco continued their fairy-tale run in the FIFA World Cup 2022 as they dumped Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal out of the tournament with a 1-0 win.

With the victory, the Atlas Lions become the first African side to go through to the World Cup semi-finals.

It was Morocco's En-Nesyri who broke the deadlock for his side with an incredible leaping header right on the cusp of half time which eventually turned out to be the match-winner in the end.

Portugal did come close to levelling the score when Bruno Fernandes' strike hit the crossbar just before the half-time whistle, but in the end they failed to breach the Moroccan goal.

After 5 games in the tournament, the Atlas Lions are yet to concede a goal from any opposition they have faced so far which shows the resilience Walid Regragui's men are showing at the biggest stage of them all.
