'Sergio Aguero statue', Manchester City celebrates the iconic '93.20' moment

Manchester City unveiled a Sergio Aguero statue on Friday to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iconic '93.20' moment that helped them win their first Premier League title in 2012.

The statue sculpted by American-based Scottish artist Andy Scott depicts the legendary moment when Aguero smashed a goal deep in the stoppage time to help Manchester City beat Queens Park Rangers by 3-2 10 years ago on 13th May. The statue portrays the moment when he ripped off his jersey to celebrate the legendary goal.

For me it's fantastic. So I am very happy about this statue. Now I am enjoying it, you know. For me that is special, it is so good because that goal for me is this moment. I think when they created the statue I told them that picture is the one, Aguero said.

The 33-year-old footballer who retired recently due to health issues has helped Manchester City win 5 Premier League titles. He also became the highest-scoring overseas player at Manchester City. He has scored 184 goals in 275 matches for the Citizens.
