Champions League: Ronaldo saves scrappy Man United again, Chelsea win big

Manchester United found themselves once again under the pump after slumping to a 2-0 deficit at the halftime break against Italian side Atalanta in their Group F Champions League tie. The fans at the Old Trafford continued to chant as the Red Devils spurred back to life in the 2nd half. Goals from Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire got the hosts back on level terms before Cristiano Ronaldo's winner in the 81st min sealed the deal for Manchester United. A dramatic 3-2 win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men as they shift their focus to Premier League where they next play Liverpool.

Barcelona edged past Dynamo Kiev by a solitary goal in their Group E clash courtesy a first half strike from Gerard Pique. The win ensured that Barcelona snapped their 4 match losing streak in Champions League and collected their first points of the season after 2 straight losses. Up next for Barcelona is El Classico against arch rivals Real Madrid which will be their first meeting since the departure of Lionel Messi.

Chelsea thrashed Malmo 4-0 on Wednesday night as they registered their 2nd win of the competition. A goal each from Andreas Christensen & Kai Havertz and brace from Jorginho helped Thomas Tuchel's men to register an easy win at the Stamford Bridge. The win helps Chelsea reach the 2nd spot on the table in Group H behind Juventus with 2 wins from 3 games.
