'You have been a legendary captain': Yuvraj Singh gifts Virat Kohli a special golden boot

In a heartfelt gesture, Yuvraj Singh on Tuesday presented Virat Kohli with a special golden boot from Puma along with an emotional note.

In the note, the former India cricketer wrote that Virat's discipline and passion on the field and dedication to the sport inspire every young kid in this country to pick up the bat and dream of putting on the blue jersey one day.

Yuvi also celebrated Virat's career and time as captain and wrote that Kohli has been a legendary captain and a fantastic leader. 'I’m glad to have shared a bond with you as a teammate and more so a friend', added Yuvraj.

Virat stepped down as India's T20 skipper and was removed as the ODI captain as well by the BCCI. Kohli then gave up the Test captaincy as well after India's 2-1 series loss vs South Africa.
