Yashasvi Jaiswal buys apartment in Mumbai for INR 5.4 Crore

Cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal has purchased an apartment in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai for ₹5.38 crore, according to documents accessed by Zapkey. The 1,100-square-foot apartment is currently under development and is situated in Bandra (East).

According to the paperwork, the property deal was registered on January 6. The building's initial promoter, Radius Estates, has declared bankruptcy. Adani Realty has now purchased the project. The business district Bandra Kurla Complex is adjacent to Bandra East.

A rising superstar with humble beginnings

At the age of ten, Jaiswal, the son of a modest shopkeeper in Uttar Pradesh, relocated to Mumbai to play cricket.

He admitted to sleeping at a dairy where he used to work for a while in an interview with Indian Express in 2020. "I would get tired and go to sleep after playing cricket all day." He said, "One day, they threw out my luggage and said I just sleep and don't help them."

The left-handed opener made history last Sunday when he amassed his second double century, which featured a record 12 sixes, to lead India to a 434-run victory over England in the third Test at Rajkot. 2020 saw Jaiswal dominate the U-19 World Cup. He successfully converted the success into an IPL bid of Rs 2.4 crore for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2023, where he flourished with 625 runs in 14 games.
