Indian women's team have a Herculean task on their hands when they lock horns with South Africa in their last league game of ICC Women's ODI World Cup on March 27.

South Africa have already qualified for the semifinal after sharing a point with West Indies in their previous match, which was abandoned due to rain.

The result could hamper India's chances for semifinal qualification if they lose the match against South Africa. India have six points in six games while West Indies have seven points in seven matches and if India failed to overcome South Africa's challenge then they will be knocked out of the tournament.

South Africa has been in red-hot form in the ongoing World Cup as they won four out of six matches. Meanwhile, India is going through a roller-coaster ride given they lost three and won as many matches.

Smriti Mandhana and Harmapreet Kaur came back to form after scoring a century each against England but the duo failed with the bat in the next three games.

However, the Indian bowling unit led by veteran Jhulan Goswami looked impressive but the lack of runs on the board has been a problem for them.
