Why India vs West Indies 3rd T20I was delayed due to groundstaff blunder

An unusual blunder by the ground staff caused a slight delay in the commencement of the third T20I match between India and West Indies in Guyana.

Reportedly, the groundstaff forgot to mark the 30-yard circle at the Providence Stadium.

This situation led to an awkward start to the game as the players quickly noticed the issue and temporarily exited the field.

In the third T20I, West Indies, having already secured victories in the first two matches, won the toss and chose to bat.

Although the brief interruption took place, India managed to return to the field and secure a seven-wicket win against the hosts. West Indies are still 2-1 ahead in the five-match T20I series. The remaining two games will be played in Lauderhill, Florida, on Saturday.
