At the PCA Stadium in Mohali, India's skipper Rohit Sharma was dismissed for a duck during his T20I comeback against Afghanistan.

Rohit wanted to start the side off well as they chased 159 to win, but his stay was cut short. For a duck, Rohit was dismissed. After dancing down the track, the Indian skipper smacked the ball to mid-off.

Unaware that Shubman Gill, the non-striker, was observing the ball, Rohit took off. Rohit eventually ran out of gas and found himself trapped at the same conclusion. Rohit gave Gill a hard time as he was leaving.

Afghanistan set India a 159-run goal to chase in Mohali when senior all-round player Mohammad Nabi produced an outstanding blow.

Following a composed opening partnership of 50 runs between captain Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, India took three early wickets thanks to Axar Patel and Shivam Dube, applying pressure to the visiting team.

But to bring Afghanistan back into the contest, Nabi and Azmatullah Omarzai cobbled together a 68-run stand. After hitting two boundaries and a six in his 29 runs off 22 balls, Omarzai was bowled out by bowler Mukesh Kumar in the 18th over.

Soon after Omarzai left, Nabi returned to the pavilion while Mukesh claimed his second wicket of the night. But Nabi had already done the damage, smashing 42 off 27 balls, including three maximums and two boundaries.

In the first innings, Najibullah Zadran and Karim Janat contributed 19 and 9 runs, respectively, to help Afghanistan reach 158 or 5 in 20 overs.
