Virat Kohli's preparations never change irrespective of his form: Rahul Dravid

Indian coach Rahul Dravid lavished praise on Virat Kohli who smashed his 1st ODI century after a span of over 3 years during the 3rd ODI win in Bangladesh.

Dravid while speaking to BCCI.tv pointed out how the ex-skipper's intensity for preparing before the game never wanes irrespective of his form in a particular format. The coach also lauded Kohli's performance and record in the 50-over format. The 34-year-old cricketer has played 103 ODI matches and scored 8075 runs in the format.

'For me, this has been a standout, watching him train this past year that never changes irrespective of whether he is doing well or not and that is a great lesson for a lot of young players', Dravid said and continued to hail his ability to read the game, when to play aggressively and when to control it.

Further, days after KL Rahul had hinted how the Men in Blue will now aim at playing the aggressive form of cricket, Rahul Dravid too threw his weight behind it and said, 'I think adaptability is going to be very important, to play aggressively when you want to and then the opportunity to play a difficult period of the day of Test cricket either with the bat or ball and play some hard cricket'
