In a remarkable display of resilience and skill, Indian cricket's newest sensation, Akash Deep, made a memorable debut by securing three wickets within two overs during his initial spell, despite an early hiccup.

The moment of triumph was momentarily overshadowed in the 4th over when Akash Deep celebrated his first wicket as Zak Crawley's off-stump was sent flying, only for the joy to be dampened by the sound of the no-ball siren, invalidating the dismissal.

Akash Deep comes back stronger with back-to-back wickets

Undeterred by this initial setback, Akash Deep showcased his determination and talent in the very next over. Demonstrating impeccable precision, he first dismissed England's centurion from the last game, Ben Duckett, for 11 with a delivery that left the batter helpless, immediately followed by capturing Ollie Pope lbw for a scoreless inning.

Not resting on his laurels, Akash Deep continued his impressive debut by delivering a masterstroke that penetrated Zak Crawley's defences, striking the top of the off-stump and marking his third wicket of the match.

This debut performance by Akash Deep not only highlighted his potential as a formidable pacer for the Indian cricket team in the absence of spearhead Jasprit Bumrah but also underscored his ability to bounce back from adversity with remarkable composure and effectiveness.
